Recap + Giveaway: My MIBF Experience

Me and Lucy from Fully Booked!
Hey guys! I know the post is a few hours too late (well in my time anyway,) I went to this party thing and I wasn't able to touch a computer for the last 24 hours. Yes, I do lead a busy life (not really.)

Anyway, here's my MIBF recap. Unfortunately, it lacks the pictures to spice it up so you'll just have to bear with me. 'Cause nothing exciting really happened (but I DID witness a Bible quiz bee happen and I wondered if my school had entered. LOL!) And I was not able to catch any book blogger (sucks, I know.) Oh and GERALDINE WASN'T WITH ME. Boo.

But anyway, here were the two biggest highlights, for me, during the fair:

Highlight Numero Uno:
My mom and I were at the National Bookstore booth and we were paying for the books we had just bought (they will be posted below,) and National Bookstore was having their annual raffle that you'll get a chance at if you spend Php 1,000.00 or more and we were able to get one hit at it. But instead of playing, my mom asked the lady if she could just give us a Scholastic bookmark because it really was badass-looking, so the lady gave us one. But my mom, being a mother, went and asked for another one and after a few tries, the lady finally caved and gave us another one:

DON'T THEY LOOK AWESOME?!
Highlight Numero Dos:
While I thought that the MIBF was a wholesome, very religious and educational book fair, I was proven very, very wrong. While my mom and I were roaming around the fair, we saw this:

Yes guys, we saw a poster of Fifty Shades of Grey that explicitly says "The Filipino Edition" which means it's going to be translated to Filipino! When my mom and I saw this, we were LOL-ing so freaking hard!! And yes, I also saw copies of Fifty Shades in Goodwill... Is the world ending? I'm pretty excited to see how they'll translate the words to Filipino, we'll definitely be buying a copy.

My haul this week:
